On Tuesday, March 25, our colleagues Hugo and Niki took an impressive truck and trailer to Paleis Primary School in Diepenbeek. The second-year students – including Niki’s son Emiel – got a special introduction to the world of truck drivers.
The main goal? Raising awareness about the dangers of blind spots and giving the children important tips on traffic safety. Through a fun and interactive session, they learned how limited a truck driver’s visibility can be.
The kids were clearly fascinated, asked lots of questions, and were thrilled to sit behind the wheel themselves. In the driver’s cab, they discovered how well-positioned mirrors help drivers spot more of their surroundings.
A fun and educational experience – for the children and for us!
